3-5 platform-ready short-form clips extracted from a single long video

A video repurposing pipeline that takes a long YouTube video (or any video URL) and produces multiple shorts and clips optimized for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels. A curator agent watches the transcript and identifies the most engaging moments — hooks, punchlines, reveals, key insights — each sourceable at a specific timestamp. A clipper agent extracts each moment as a vertical 9:16 clip, adds captions with highlight words emphasized, and crops in on the speaker or action. The result is a batch of 15-60 second clips, each with a hook title, engaging captions, and a CTA overlay, all saved and ready to publish.

    Curator identifies the best clip moments

    Download the video transcript and watch key timestamps. Identify 3-5 moments that would work as standalone short-form content:
- Strong hooks that stop the scroll
- Punchlines, surprises, or memorable one-liners
- Actionable insights that provide standalone value
- Emotional or high-energy moments

For each moment, note the start/end timestamp (15-60 seconds), a one-line hook title, and why it works as a short.

    Clips agent trims and crops each moment to 9:16

    For each selected moment:
- Trim the video to the exact start/end range
- Crop to vertical 9:16 (1080x1920), centering on the speaker or action area
- Track the speaker with a slow pan if needed to keep them in frame
- Normalize audio levels for consistent volume

Output each clip as a separate MP4 file.

    Add captions, highlights, and CTA overlays

    For each clip:
- Burn in word-by-word captions using a clean sans-serif style
- Emphasize key words with highlight color or bold weight
- Add a bottom-third CTA overlay at the end ('Follow for more' / 'Subscribe' / 'Link in bio')
- Add a progress bar or preview element to increase stickiness

Use a consistent caption style across all clips in the batch.

    Save all clips and deliver a publishing-ready summary

    Save each final clip as a 1080x1920 MP4. Produce a delivery summary with:
- Clip title (the hook)
- Duration
- Suggested caption text for posting
- Recommended hashtags
- Which platform each clip is best suited for (Shorts, TikTok, Reels)
